Having lived in central Arkansas the better part of her life, owner of Canine Country Club, Anita Sedberry is an Arkansan through and through. Arkansas' people and their dogs hold a very special place in her heart.
After securing her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Anita continued her career working with a number of premier ad agencies in the Little Rock area. In 1997, Anita relocated to Dallas accepting a position as a sales executive for Interep Radio, a national radio sales firm.
While living in Dallas, Anita Sedberry and her dogs fell in love with a non-traditional kennel, where the focus was on a “happy = healthy” approach to dog kenneling. After returning home to Little Rock in 2003, Anita searched for something similar in the central Arkansas area but unfortunately came up empty handed.
Anita believed central Arkansas was missing a very beneficial service: a local dog care facility where dogs could spend most of their time outdoors getting exercise and socializing with other dogs. She envisioned creating the area’s premier dog boarding and daycare facility, and so began her journey as the owner of Canine Country Club, which opened its doors on November 1, 2004.
