If you’re like most dog owners, you’ve probably considered paying for dog training before. The benefits are endless when it comes to having a professional train your dog.
At the Canine Country Club of Arkansas in Little Rock, we train dogs using positive reinforcement methods, training with praise, rewards, and treats. We don’t use aversive dog training methods (like punishment or shock collards). Our training services range from Puppy Kindergarten to our popular Board-and-Train program.
With our Board-and-Train program, your dog stays with us for a 1-, 2-, or 3-week period of time and receives 4-6 daily training sessions over that time. We’ve put together a list of three benefits to registering your dog in our Board-and-Train program.
1. It builds a great foundation.
If your dog needs more than a couple of days of training, our Board-and-Train program fills the need for a more intensive training schedule for your pup. Your dog is given a training session 4-6 times a day, which means our trainers are spending a lot of time one-on-one with your dog. The program helps give your dog a good, solid foundation of manners. And that couldn’t be more worth the investment, if you ask us.
2. It saves you time and energy.
Also perfect for our customers with busy schedules, our Board-and-Train program enables you to drop off and pick up your dog just once at the very beginning and end of the program. This makes it much easier on customers who simply don’t have time to drop off their dog several times a week. Free up your time and energy for other things you need to get done. We’ll take it from here!
3. We’ll provide a transfer session at the end of your dog's stay.
At the end of your dog’s training program with us, we’ll schedule a transfer lesson. During this lesson, you will be reunited with your pup and will get to see what was accomplished during their stay. The trainer will demonstrate the new skills and manners your dog learned and will send you home equipped with knowledge on how to continue reinforcing and supporting your dog’s new skills at home, where it matters most.
Our Board-and-Train program is an investment that definitely pays off. A trained dog makes for a happy owner, a happier dog, and a happier, less-stressful home. A win-win-win.
