Kennel Technician

Our well established, busy fun Club for dogs wants to add additional staff to our team. Canine Country Club of Arkansas is seeking bright, energetic, individuals who work hard, pay close attention to detail and have a love of dogs.

This position requires supervision and clean up after doggie playgroups, lots of on your feet exercise – walking, some running, throwing balls, scratching ears and even some swimming. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds, be on your feet for several hours at a time and have flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Overtime is occasionally available. Previous kennel or vet office experience is a plus.


  • Interacting with dogs to ensure they are happy, healthy and safe
  • Working closely and cooperatively with team members
  • Cleaning and disinfecting areas occupied or used by dogs
  • Dispensing food and medications
  • Bathing dogs
  • Swimming/monitoring dogs in our inground pool
  • Getting wet and muddy
  • Treating guests, co-workers and customers in a professional, courteous manner
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Assisting teammates and performing other duties as needed.


  • Must live within 30 minutes of Canine Country Club of Arkansas
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be reliable, punctual and able to manage time well
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in any kind of weather
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-starter – can take initiative to complete tasks without supervision

Front Office/Reception

Canine Country Club of Arkansas is searching for the right front office/customer service person that LOVES dogs! Our front office is busy and our company is fast growing. The ideal candidate must have office experience, possess great customer service, supervisory and operational skills. The ideal candidate should also have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and possess leadership qualities. Creativity and strong problem-solving skills, willingness to tackle problems head on and great time management skills are required.

Candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • Handle phone reservations and data entry (using our kennel software)
  • Multi-tasking with various projects
